That's no moon, it's a space stat......oh wait, sorry, wrong story. Moving on, had a lot of fun with this one. The speed of the approaching horror balances perfectly against the required actions for the repairs. Definitely would like to see this expanded upon in the future.
found this in youtube recommendation by one of the good people below, pretty cool concept.
curious about how this came to be? seems like a nightmare almost. Reminds me of a dream I been having about just colossal yet distant asteroids skimming past earth, very similar anticipation with the false-star creature slowly creeping up directly at you. Hope to see more
Thank you! I get what you mean. I've had nightmares where just the sheer scale of something was enough to make me uneasy. But the origin of this idea was just after some brainstorming for the jam. At first I just thought of making it so that you escape a sun that's going berserk with solar flares, and that quickly evolved into giving it teeth and a creepy eye.
I hope to make another space horror game at some point, but with more fleshed out repair mechanics.
jajajajajajajajajajajaja
Oh yeah the controls are janky as fuck, I couldn't put more time into it for the jam. Also you calling it a meatball made me think of the meatball man from Little Runmo lmao
Thank you so much for playing!
I enjoyed playing this :)
Glad to see it created tension hahaha, thank you for playing!
Good game well done keep it up!
Thank you!
Short and sweet, just how I like it. Very effective tension building without being overwhelming.
Thank you! I'm glad it hit the sweet spot on that.

I didn't expect a video on the first day. This is awesome thank you!
